Custom Cake Policies

Ordering

Custom cakes begin with an inquiry. We will follow up with a quote based on size, design, and flavors.

Your date is not reserved until a deposit is received.

Deposits & Payment

A 50% deposit is required at booking. The balance is due at pickup.

Deposits are non-refundable, as your date is held and materials are ordered in advance.

Lead Times

Celebration cakes require a minimum of two weeks notice.

Wedding cakes should be booked at least six weeks ahead. Popular dates fill early, so we recommend reaching out as soon as you have a date.

Changes & Cancellations

Design changes may be possible depending on how close we are to your date. Contact us as early as possible.

Cancellations forfeit the deposit.

Design

Every cake is made by hand. Colors, textures, and finishes may vary slightly from reference photos.

We are happy to work from inspiration photos and will make the design our own.

Tastings

We do not offer scheduled tastings. Guests are welcome to stop in during bakery hours and try our flavors from the daily case.

Pickup

All custom cakes are pickup only at our University Avenue location. We do not deliver.

Allergens

While we take care with ingredients, 

our kitchen is not allergen-free. If you have allergies or dietary concerns, please let us know when you inquire.
